No Whining Wednesday is here AGAIN (Jesus, Wednesdays, what's your hurry and why are you so damn hard to spell? You're like stupid February. What's up with all the extra letters?). Work is kicking my ass and it's taking up most of my attention, which unless I get a promotion and a big ol' honkin' raise, sucks.
I've been trying new things lately; nothing big, just stupid little things here and there. Every time I've gone to the grocery store over the last couple of weeks, I've bought myself fresh flowers and arranged them and turns out, it's kind of relaxing and quite enjoyable to look over at them periodically. I think I'll keep this up! I'm also going to try scallops. Based on Doran and Liz's recommendation, I bought some today and will saute those bad boys up tomorrow night. I cleaned the hell out of my apartment this past weekend and I can't even tell you how much I love Nemo. I just feel like I'm doubling my efforts without doing anything. IT'S SO COOL! What else? Angel-ica and I are getting food Friday and are going to play Wii and laugh and laugh. Angie's laugh is so boisterous and awesome, I defy anyone not to be in a better mood when she's around. Even if she's pissed off, she's still able to laugh.
Speaking of laughing, I am boring the living crap out of myself with this here fancy blog! I have nothing funny or even interesting going on because I'm boring and because stupid work expects me to work, which is really pretty assholey of it when you think about it. Later this week I'll post something about SEX, so you better stick around. There'll be SEX talk and you don't want to miss out on the SEXY SEX! That'll bring you back, right?
So, what good, different or fun things are going on in your lives? Are you up for No Whining Wednesday?
PS: Don't forget the SEX coming later this week...
This is the best I could grab today. It's pretty cute actually. Enjoy and have a great day!
PPS: SEX!!

Flowers were going to be my happy thing this week! I just bought a bunch of roses from Costco and am looking at them as I (try to) crochet. They are beautiful and make me so happy.
On another happy note, my doctor told me I'm fine after a week of testing, monitoring and otherwise offending me. Apparently, I'm just nuts. Wheeee...
I do like flowers. I do like the that GWCH is well and good (HOOrah) and I'm happy that I haven't yanked out my nails with a pair of pliers in order to keep from killing people. Yay, happy! Get through Wednesday. Lainey and we can all meet up her on Thursday to toast our restraint and forbearance.
And I even like my typos! Yay, NWW!
Whoo! SEX!
Hahah! You're even more adorable when you're chipper, did you know that?
I'm almost finished with my current class, which is super exciting, and soon to be on vacation (I'm not going anywhere, but I'm not going to work, either), so I'm hoping to get into the habit of posting more often at that point. Then, once the fall semester starts, I'll already be in the habit. That's the plan, anyway.
The point of that, besides me talking about myself which we all know I love to do, is that I can't wait for you to start posting more frequently! About SEX and scallops and whatever! Oh, and happy NWW!
Scallops rock, cooked or raw (sashimi!).
I'm definitely coming back for the sex. Please let it not involve the sea lions.
Aww--thank you, Spender!
Lainey, add nice interwebby friends to things I'm grateful for this week.
uuuhhh.....You said sex....What were we talking about? Oh yeah, NWW! I am happy because 2 days down, only 2 to go till the other half returns (I am disgustingly emotionally dependent!). Went to my daughter's soccer game tonight and while they lost, my daughter is a thing to behold when she is competitve, even with the grass in her teeth (she's the goalie). Oh! and I didn't kill one of my co-workers today, who was definitely deserving of some murdering. Yay NWW!
Girl - We should make a pact to always have fresh flowers around. It's amazing how uplifting they are! I'm glad you're ok and yes, interwebby friends are something I'm thankful for every day!
Spender - I like typos. It's like a puzzle for me to decipher!
AvB - I love that you like it when I'm chipper! My boss and co-workers don't find it nearly so adorable. In fact, I'm certain their exact words are, "STOP IT!" I like your plan. More posting from you = chipper Lainey!
Cindy - I can't believe I've never eaten them. I don't know where I got the idea that they were slimy. I'm looking forward to my planned meal of butter & garlic sauteed scallops with parmesan angel hair pasta & asparagus. I don't think I'm brave enough to try them raw though!
Eyvi - Wow, that whole SEX lure really works! I think it's adorable that you're so in love with your husband (who, if it's not totally inappropriate for me to say, is freakin' HOT!). And big props for not killing your co-worker. That just creates a nightmare for HR, so I thank you on a professional level for stifling your murderous urges.
Thanks again, y'all! It really perks me up when I get your emails throughout the day.
Wait! Stop right there... how do YOU know Evyi's husband is hot?! What the devil?!
Mmm, you're making me hungry. After you do the cooked thing, go to a good sushi place and try them raw. Scallop usually comes in very thin slices with lemon in between - they are so sweet you won't believe what you've been missing. Also, do not overcook scallops - they will become like rubber. Just a couple of minutes on each side.
oi!
WHERE IS THE SEX?!
Mmmm...scallops! Now with more bacon wrap!
Sex stories, always a good topic if you ask me.
Seriously figgy - we were duped. I keep coming back, and NO FUCKING SEX!
HaHA, SUCKERS!
Sorry, sorry, sorry! I was going to post a sex story, but then it seemed kind of creepy and also, not very interesting or entertaining. I've decided to post a NEW sex story though, so make sure you come back to read about the NEW SEX story! It'll be SEXY! And full of SEXY SEX!
